Plain air at Aldeburgh beach, Suffolk 27.09.2023
I started the first day of the 2023 new year with a painting in Woodbridge of the Deben River, this day turned out to be sunny for joy and I managed to find a hidden place from the wind to enjoy the landscape and drawing. The plein-air painting was painted in oil on canvas/board for a bit over an hour. I had a lot of pleasure and especially when my friends immediately decided to buy this painting. Very glad! Preparations for the exhibition are in full swing !

'Colour of the flower', Exhibition at The Plantation Garden, Heritage day, Norwich. 10/09/2023
Annual The Plantation Garden magazine 2023I am very active a member of the Norwich art scene and I like to paint in distinctive and colourful painting style, from figurative and abstract to the nature and floral art. I have been a member of the Plantation Garden for more then 10 years. Very often going to this gem place to enjoy the nature and draw and paint the flowers and trees. Listening the birds, falls of the leaves and water in the fountain. Looking and following the seasonal changing colours of the trees and watching how the spring bring a new life and colours to the garden, it was always real joy! I have been taking many friends from different regions to this hidden fantastic garden. I believe that communication with nature is very important for any artist. It is very important to use the richness of nature, its colours and shapes. Nature, flowers, plants, trees teach us forms, purity of colour and freedom. Scenery, forests, seas and rivers with lakes, smells of flowers and songs of birds are added to the paintings. And if it is drawn with the soul and with all heart, that the viewer will always see and feel it. Nature is the best teacher and educator for an artist. It is very important to have time to draw in the open air and from nature.
